My company, Cormier Rice Mill, has worked with Addison for many years. I actually moved my trucking business from Stallion Transportation to Addison to follow Mike Cornell when he was hired there. I cannot say enough positive things about the way Mike handled our account. Problems never seemed like problems. He has a way of diffusing frustrating situations. He ALWAYS shot me straight, even if it wasn't something I really wanted to hear. I appreciate the business relationship we had and I believe he is a great asset to Addison.
When Mike's role changed, I began working with Ray Helm. Again, can't say enough good things. In a business rife with frustration, curtness and short fuses, Ray is a class act. He is always helpful, makes calls to see if we need anything, provides insight into the market and is quick to help us resolve any problems that arise. Although I didn't have daily contact with Brooke, whenever I needed help and Ray was out, she was very professional and helpful.
I most appreciate the honesty I have received from your company. I have worked with other trucking companies who seemed to go out of their way to avoid telling me the truth about late trucks, missed pickups, etc. That has never been our experience with Addison. Although I am no longer handing freight, I continue to stay in contact with Ray and consider him a friend.
I appreciate the business relationship Cormier has had with Addison and, as a result, have recommended your company on many occasions. I know this is a difficult industry and freight has been moving slow, but it will be companies like Addison, who value their employees and show a sense of pride in the individuals they hire, who will prevail.
